Natural Vegetables and Herbs, from our Farm to your Table

Fresh, Local and Delicious!

We’re a natural farm that regularly provides your family the freshest, highest quality and cleanest vegetables and herbs at a fair price, while also providing you opportunities to be in nature, connect with others and build community.

Bustana Farm is run by spirited, enthusiastic people living in Nazareth, Haifa, and Iksal, who love to farm. We are a CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) farm, meaning that your monthly membership secures you a place as a Bustana Farm community member. In exchange, the healthy and clean vegetables and herbs that you want for yourself and your family, are delivered, without fail, to your doorstep, every week.

Family Owned Since 1850

Bustana Farm is an offshoot of the parent company, Bustana, a family run business that has been growing crops and vegetables in Marj Ibn Amer, near Iksal/Nazareth, since the 1850s!

‘Bustana Farm’ is Bustana's first venture into organic market gardening!

Natural, Ethical and Socially Responsible

Our vegetables and herbs are grown following local and international organic standards, meaning they are grown naturally and all our seeds are non-GMO. We are a for-profit enterprise inspired by the social-betterment ethics of permaculture - earth care, people care and making sure everyone has their fair share.

Although we are not organic-certified, we are in the process of obtaining organic certification. Our farm is supervised by the organic certifier to ensure the highest organic production standards.

What is a CSA?

Community-supported agriculture (CSA) connects farmers directly to consumers like you. CSA members buy monthly “shares” of the harvest and reap the benefits of getting fresh produce directly from the farm to their kitchen table. As the farmer knows the number of members he has, he is able to plan his growing season. The benefits to you as a CSA member are fresher produce, lower prices and access to heirloom, Baladi varieties that aren’t usually available in grocery stores, and certainly not also grown organically. The CSA structure also benefits the local economy as the money spent stays close to home.

Our CSA Model

On July 2019 we started to accept members to our Weekly Farm Box. Each week members receive a box of fresh organic produce. CSA members make a commitment to support the farm through their monthly membership. This commitment ensures the survival of local agriculture by sharing bounty (and risk) of the farm. By joining, members get access to exceptional, fresh, organic produce and play an active part in the farm’s success and in building a socially responsible community.
